All About Husom and Rose Photographics
Husom & Rose Photographics was formed
in 1986 as a photography, graphic arts and media firm. Partners David
Husom and Ann-Marie Rose brought extensive experience to the company:
Husom was Assistant Professor of Photography at the University of Minnesota,
and Rose was Lead Instructor of Graphic Arts Color Separation at a
vocational technical college. Husom and Rose have remained committed
to their belief in combining artistic creativity, broad based technical
skills and use of the most sophisticated technology to provide unequaled
quality. Today Husom & Rose Photographics specializes in four areas:
Print Studio
Our 44 inch state of the art inkjet printer offers archival quality prints
for artists, photographers and designers on a variety of art media, including
fine art papers and canvas. We are color experts and offer the highest
quality to maintain your artistic vision. See Print
Studio to learn more.
Digital Imaging
With over 17 years experience in Adobe Photoshop, we work in variety of media
including print, Web and multimedia. Through our Digital Family Album™ service
we also offer museum quality restoration of faded or damaged photographs
and documents. See Digital
Design to learn more.
Training
As leaders in our field we are often called upon to give lectures, classes
and workshops in digital and conventional imaging. We have done over 100
workshops and seminars on Photoshop and digital photography including custom
training for Kodak, 3M and Apple Computers. In addition we have spoken
at conferences across the county for photo educators, printers, designers,
and video and multimedia specialists. For more on upcoming workshops and
classes visit our Training area.
And if that didn't keep them
busy enough...
David Husom and Ann-Marie Rose are both accomplished artists. Husom's photographs
are in a number of museum collections including large collections of his work
at the Getty Museum in Los Angeles, the Weisman Museum in Minneapolis, and
the Minnesota History Museum in St. Paul. Rose was a recipient of an Arts Midwest
- National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship for her work in digital imaging.
Husom and Rose have exhibited extensively throughout the country and in Japan
